Soccer is the fastest growing sport
world-wide with athletes ranging in age from 5 years old up to adults. With FIFA now supporting the use of artificial
turf for soccer the number of games being played with movable soccer goals is growing faster than at any time in the
sports history. According to the National Soccer Participation Study conducted in 1994 by the Soccer Industry Council
of America, there were 16,000,000 people in the U.S. who played soccer at lease once a year. Of that number 74% (12,000,000)
were under 18 years of age. The number of people playing soccer on artificial turf fields has more than tripled since
this study was conducted and while the study doesn't show the percentage playing on artificial turf, it is significant.
.
The process of anchoring down movable soccer goals on artificial
turf surfaces is something owners and organizations have struggled with for many years. Unlike with a natural
grass field on artificial turf you cannot drive a conventional anchor spike down through the artificial turf field. The most
widely used anchors to secure the goals are sand bags and other counterweight products for artificial turf and other
hard surfaces. With the growing popularity of artificial turf fields being estimated at 750 new fields per year, the number
of movable soccer goals being used is skyrocketing. The national estimates range between 300,00
and 500,000 soccer goals in use in U.S alone. The need to improve the anchoring process for movable soccer goals on artificial
turf is paramount. We need to better protecting athletes, facility owners, managers, coaches and all associated
with the sport, by improving the products and education.

SECURE-A-GOAL® has developed a patent pending system for anchoring goals on all
surfaces, and its easy to use. Unlike counterweights our system actual secures the goal down to the turf surface and or subsurface
under the field. We support the use of counter weights because you may not be able to have ground anchors everywhere, and
counter weights are the answer. However, on your main field of play most the industry reports and recommendations say
goals need to be anchored down. Our designs can be custom fit to any field and subbase system, from stone to synthetic
drainage. Depending on your location we have regional technicians that can install a custom SECURE-A-GOAL®
system on your field(s).
.
No soccer goals
should ever be left in a playable position unanchored, kids often see the goals as somethings to climb on which is extremely
dangerous.
SECURE-A-GOAL® can be included in the design of new fields
or installed on any existing artificial turf field regardless
of brand or field age. We also have a SECURE-A-GOAL® system that can be installed
by your sports turf management crew.
.
Our anchoring system easily locks on to your movable soccer goal with our lock pin or eye-bolt. This patent pending
system can be installed on the back bar, side bar, diagonal side bar and takes less than 10 seconds to put on and take off.
Once the goal is removed this system will allow the turf field to be re-closed for surface play for other sports. Our patent
pending "Turf Access Flap" is only about 3" wide and our GoalLOCK® anchor retracts back down below the
playing surface when not in use.

There is really nothing on the market like our retractable GoalLOCK® system. Our braided steel cable holds over
1,000 lbs. per and we have a minimum of two per goal. Our technicians install, repair and maintain all brands and types of
artificial and can install an anchoring system for you.

Protect the athletes that play on your soccer
fields by anchoring down your movable soccer goals. Injuries from goals tipping over is one of the most serious issues concerning
the soccer industry today, it ranks as the #1 or #2 insurance liability costs for field owners. See our links to the left

Safety Commission and FIFA FÉDÉRATION
INTERNATIONALE DE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION.
